To give you a bit more background on me, I graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and Mathematics. After graduation, I won the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship which took me to Brazil where I taught university-level classes in the Social Sciences and the Humanities.
Throughout my tutoring career, I've found that the following are absolutely crucial to achieving success: a clear line of communication with the parents or guardians of the students I am working with, the creation of a robust roadmap of progress checkpoints, and a clear assessment of what the goals and motivations of my students are.
