My student had previously taken the PSAT and was enrolled in SAT prep classes every Saturday through his school. Unfortunately as they tested him monthly, his scores did not see a lot of growth. I decided to seek out 1-1 help for my son and came across Harrison. We only had about 6 weeks before my son took the actual SAT and I wanted to be realistic about the improvement he could make in such a short time frame. Jordan took 2 one hour long sessions with Harrison weekly for 5 weeks and showcased an unbelievable amount of growth. He achieved very close to a 200 point jump in his score after taking the exam. This lifted his percentile performance a whopping 32 places. We could not have imagined such a leap in that time frame! While every student will be different, I truly believe Harrison provided my child key understanding and strategies that helped him tremendously. I also believe the same can be done for your student if given the opportunity. In terms of his personality my son says that Harrison is kind, very patient, informative, and truly engaging. My son looked forward to working with him and he learned so much about not only successful testing strategies and subject matter but also what to expect with the application / admissions process to college. The experience could not have been any better and I hope that if you are even slightly on the fence, you place your bet on Harrison. Great First Lesson
Harrison was professional, clear, and patient. He explained SAT strategies in a way that was easy to understand and kept my daughter engaged throughout the session. I appreciated that he walked her through the student dashboard, gave guided practice on real SAT problems, and assigned a meaningful timed homework module. It feels like he has a structured approach that will really help build both confidence and skill. Highly recommend.
