In my classroom roles at Old Saybrook and New Milford High Schools, I have designed and delivered NGSS-aligned curricula for students across a range of abilities, teaching subjects such as AP Biology, Forensic Science, and Environmental Field Biology. I foster a welcoming environment that encourages inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.
I am an experienced tutor as well, having virtually tutored students in biology since I started teaching. My style is to constantly use visuals and leading questions to help students diagnose misunderstandings and misconceptions they may have about a subject matter in order to help them master biology content.
