Hi, I'm David! I have a Master's of Science degree (specializing in avian ecology) and am currently in my fourth year of medical school. I enjoy learning about the human body and the natural world every day! During college, I learned that critical thinking is the most important tool for success. Raw memorization can only take you so far in science. I have seen many students spend hours memorizing facts without understanding the basic processes that connect all of the facts. Critical thinking brings in a certain cohesiveness that can allow students to reason their way to correct answers, even if their memorization skills are imperfect. Thus, I aim to make critical thinking the center of every lesson I teach.
