During my teaching career which has spanned nearly 30 years, I earned National Board Certification from the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards and taught AP physics 1 and 2, regular-level physics, physical science, and applied science at an award winning high school. Additionally, I served as a Teacher's Assistant and worked as a tutor in the Math Lab while earning my M.S. in mathematics education. Over the years, I have developed many College Board focused assignments. Among these are lab activities which require students to design their own experiments, analyze their data, and write conclusions which support/refute their hypothesis. I have prepared numerous assignments and assessments which require students to apply focus concepts. Pedagogically, I believe that relating physics concepts to a student's personal experience helps them to develop a more thorough understanding of the concepts; and that learning physics should be fun, interactive, and increase his/her appreciation of nature's beauty which surrounds us all!

The Best AP Physics tutor EVER!

My son (11th grader) has been working with Mr. Frank these past months and I cannot tell you enough how satisfied we are with the progress that our son has made so far. Mr. Frank is an expert in his field, and works so well with highschoolers/teenagers. My son really enjoys talking to him and looks forward to every session. My son has met many different science/math teachers (AP Bio, Chem, Calc, etc.), but he recently told me that Mr. Frank is by far the best science teacher he has ever met. When I noticed that Mr. Frank was a National Board Certified Teacher in his profile, I knew that he was the real deal and that he was going to be a stellar teacher. As a fellow teacher I know that it takes a lot of hardwork and dedication to gain that title. We really got very lucky because we live thousands of miles way, but we found him! Thank you Mr. Frank!

Effective and knowledgeable tutor!

Frank is my 11th grader's favorite AP Physics tutor. He really knows how to explain the topics in an understandable way. In addition, he knows the AP Physics curriculum, which will be very useful when preparing to take the exam. Physics can be very intimidating if you've never taken it before, but Frank makes it much more enjoyable.
