I’m William! I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Education with an emphasis in history and geography. I realized when attending college for my undergraduate degree that teaching history was more than simply reciting facts, dates, and boring information. I realized that for students to really grasp history, it must be told as a story. Dates, while important, are not critical to success. Understanding what happened in different periods of time is what is important. In other words, make learning fun.

I have over twenty years of experience working with students from middle school age through students seeking doctoral degrees. I have worked in school administration as a high school principal and school district supervisor. My experience is vast, and my knowledge of history, political science, geography and government is based on years of research and study that continues to this day.

While, at this point, I do not have formal tutoring experience, I feel as though my practical experience is a great plus. I am enthusiastic, and look forward to working with students who want to learn. I am willing to tailor my lessons to fit individual student needs.

I have taught U.S. History, World History, World Geography, U.S. Government, Education History, Education Law, Education Practice to include theory and actual classroom instruction. My experience in the history field is very inclusive and encompasses a large overall platform.

I believe with my overall experience in education that includes students from middle school to post-graduate study, I will be an excellent tutor for students of all ages.
