Hi, my name is Jameson! I'm from Knoxville, Tennessee, and recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration. I now work in sales and supply chain in Nashville. Outside of work, I enjoy sports, fishing, and spending time with my family.
In 2023, I worked as a Teaching Assistant supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This experience taught me that every student learns differently and reinforced the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting my approach to each student's needs.
Writing has always been one of my strongest subjects. I completed seven credit hours of college English, including both required college English courses while still in high school, earning an A in each. I also completed Advanced Placement coursework and exams, giving me experience with essays, AP-style writing, proofreading, and organization.
I also enjoy helping students prepare for what's next. Throughout college, I attended and worked career fairs, developed professional networking skills, and navigated the hiring process after graduation, receiving offers from three of the four full-time positions I interviewed for. I also earned the Bloomberg Finance Fundamentals Certificate, strengthening my knowledge of personal finance, budgeting, investing, and financial markets. I can help with career research, résumés, cover letters, interview preparation, and financial literacy.
My goal is to help students truly understand the material, not just find the right answer. We'll work through challenges together until you're confident solving similar problems on your own. I believe there is no such thing as a bad question—we all learn differently, and I'm here to help every step of the way.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me! I look forward to helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and reach their goals.
