Hello, my name is Dominic! I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from Michigan State University, where I also minored in Spanish and became fluent in the language. During my time at MSU, I balanced a rigorous academic schedule with the demands of being a Division I baseball player, which helped me develop strong time management, discipline, and leadership skills. Currently, I am preparing for the CPA exam, which has kept my knowledge of financial accounting sharp and up to date. My educational background, combined with real-world application and bilingual communication skills, allows me to connect with a diverse range of students and explain complex topics clearly and effectively.

I have not formally tutored before, however I have spent hundreds of hours collaborating and problem solving in and outside of the classroom to help others learn accounting topics. As mentioned, studying for the CPA exam has helped me refresh my understanding in topics related to financial accounting.

Learning a language can be a very daunting undertaking. Take it from me, as someone who was born in Michigan and raised in Tennessee, that learning and becoming fluent in another language can seem like an impossible task. I began my Spanish-speaking journey in high school and fell in love with the language. I pursued a minor in Spanish throughout college and have continued to utilize Spanish in my daily life. With time, dedication, and focused-learning, you, too, can speak and understand Spanish like a native-speaker.

I also offer baseball lessons for children. As a former D1 pitcher at MSU, I have a strong understanding of the fundamental skills necessary for moving to the next level. I have offered 1-on-1 lessons for years and am eager to assist children in reaching their athletic dreams.
