I am a professional singer, songwriter, producer, and performer, with over 25 years of experience in the music business. I am currently a full time staff writer at Sony Music Publishing Nashville and have written for both major and independent publishers. I have had over 120 accredited songs recorded during my career from artist such as Reba McEntire, Brantley Gilbert, Parmalee, Chris Janson, etc. to TV/Film Placements while also obtaining Grammy and Song Of The Year nominations. 

I have 10 years teaching and leading songwriting workshops and songwriting camps, while also working as a songwriting mentor for well known companies such as Nashville Songwriters Association International and Global Songwriters Connection. I have also produced records on many major label and independent artist, and toured extensively throughout the United States.

Whether you've never written a song or you're well on your way to making it a career, my major focus is on songwriting in all areas from songwriting 101 to advanced commercial radio songwriting. In depth focus on every area of songwriting from form and structure, to melodies, ideas, and hooks.

I am also available to teach acoustic guitar and home recording with a focus on Pro Tools. I will help add to your musical resume and provide the tools that will allow you to become a complete songwriter, from the inception of the song, to the final recording, or just to help you advance your hobby! My teaching is Individualized based on the needs, learning styles, and levels of experience of each student. 

I will teach you step by step while also passing along "tricks of the trade" that will help you gain the edge over other songwriters at your level. My teaching is laid back, patient, and fun, but dedicated to making you the best songwriter you can be. No sugar coating here!
