I hold a Master of Business Administration from Lincoln Memorial University (2026), a Master of Science in Animal Science and Behavior from Unity Environmental University (2023), and a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech (2018). My coursework included anatomy, physiology, and biology, while my MBA built a strong foundation in accounting, finance, management, and strategy. This combination allows me to tutor confidently in both business and science subjects. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish.
My tutoring experience began at Virginia Tech, where I volunteered to tutor classmates free of charge, and continued during veterinary school, where I regularly helped peers master challenging material in anatomy and physiology. These one on one and small group sessions taught me how to explain difficult concepts in simple terms and adapt to each student's needs. I also served as Vice President and later interim President of the Pre Vet Club at Virginia Tech. Later, during six years at Herndon Animal Medical Center (2019 to 2025), I redesigned the staff training program and personally trained adult learners through one on one instruction, small group sessions, and hands on practice, reducing the time for new hires to become fully productive from twelve months to three.
As a tutor, I focus on patience, clear explanations, and real world examples that make difficult concepts easier to understand. I tailor each session to the student's goals, pace, and learning style, and I check for understanding often. My goal is to help students succeed in their courses while building lasting confidence in their own abilities.
