I hold four associate degrees in math and science, which have given me a deep foundation in subjects ranging from elementary math through precalculus. During college, I worked as a peer math tutor, assisting students one-on-one in algebra, trigonometry, and precalculus. I also volunteered to help younger students strengthen their basic math and problem-solving skills, and I found I genuinely enjoy seeing that “lightbulb moment” when something clicks.
My tutoring approach focuses on understanding the why behind each problem rather than just memorizing steps.
