I am very happy to announce that I am available to tutor you in French. I can help you learn basic French expressions, conversational phrases, or just help you with your school French lessons/homework. If you are getting ready to move to a French-speaking country, I can help get you and your children ready to speak French when you arrive.
I have lived and/or studied in France seven times, and have learned to communicate in the native language with persons from many different countries. I also have three years experience as a high school French teacher, where my curriculum included Rosetta Stone French language lab.
My teaching style is very simple. We will communicate in the target language. Instruction is similar to the way that you learned English as a child.
I have a Bachelor's degree in French and have a Master of Arts in Teaching. As a native English speaker, I am also available to teach English as a foreign language.
- Madame L. Hello:
I am very happy to announce that I am available to tutor you in French. I can help you learn basic French expressions, conversational phrases, or just help you with your school French lessons/homework. If you are getting ready to move to a French-speaking country, I can help
My family and I were in Memphis for a couple of months. Normally, we live and work overseas, where my children (ages 6 and 5) study exclusively in French. This made it difficult as my husband and I do not speak French, especially as we tried to catch them up on homework. Christine worked so patiently with both children, as they completed their assignments. She speaks fantastic French, understands grammatical rules, and has an extensive vocabulary. I would chose her to work with my children again in a heart beat!
Christine is a very nice, helpful tutor. She can identify your needs and work effectively with the student. I totally recommend her!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
