I spent the last year tutoring introductory Accounting classes to colllege undergraduates. I was employed by the University as a graduate assistant to do this. This was mostly small group tutoring with many one on one sessions as well. It was during this time that I realized how much I appreciated helping others with accounting, which can be a tricky subject. Being just out of college, I am able to relate to the coursework and to the students, which I feel gives me an advantage in my teaching.
I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation, using clear examples and real-world applications to break down tough topics into manageable steps. My approach is patient, conversational, and supportive — I aim to boost confidence as well as grades. In short, I'm here to make accounting as easily understandable as possible!
