Hi, I'm Jameson! I am a multi-instrumentalist and teaching artist with over 20 years in music instruction.

Hi, I'm Jameson! I am a multi-instrumentalist and teaching artist with over 20 years in music instruction.

I started giving lessons when I was in high school, helping remedial band students in my public school band program and teaching guitar through the music roots program in my local community. I have a background in folk, blues, jazz, rock, pop, and modern contemporary music. I recieved a scholarship to University of Arkansas on a band scholarship for tenor saxophone with an emphasis in jazz guitar where I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education.

After school, I spent several years touring with rock bands as a guitarist while also teaching private lessons for over 13 different instruments. I have been featured on dozens of albums ranging from all genres, been featured in video games and vgm remix albums, and have worked as a studio musician for clients hiring session players. To this day, I continue to compose, record, perform, and publish work on a regular basis.

I'm a great fit for anyone looking to understand their instrument on a more fundamental level, explore the creative space as an artist, or someone just getting ready for a recital/audition. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your musical goals. Cheers!

I have been playing a variety of instruments for over 20+ years. Including (but not limited to): Guitar, Saxophone, Piano, Tin Whistle, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Euphonium, Mandolin, Banjo, Dulcimer, Bowed Psaltry, Accordion, Bass Guitar, and Drum Kit. I have made a career of teaching these instruments, recording in studios, and performing live.

I have been teaching guitar lessons since I was 16. At age 19, I got my first part-time job teaching music lessons while I was pursuing my Bachelor's in Music Education with an emphasis in Jazz Guitar. After college, I taught independently before working for several different private music institutions, some years at a time. To this day, I still teach guitar and deliver a comprehensive method that's great for beginners and advanced players alike!

I have been playing the piano seriously since I started college in 2006 when I started my Bachelor's in Music Education. I took all 4 semesters of required piano courses for the degree and later went on to play piano/organs/synths on several records and with several different ensembles in the latter years. To this day, I still record, write, perform, and teach piano in a comprehensive yet accessible way for a variety of experience levels.
