I’m a writing and academic skills tutor with a strong interdisciplinary background and a focus on helping students become confident, clear thinkers on the page. I hold a B.S. in Aerospace and an M.A. in Security Management, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and distinction. I am also an MFA candidate in creative writing at a nationally recognized program, where I study advanced fiction, narrative craft, and revision techniques at a professional level. My academic path gives me both technical precision and strong communication skills — which is especially helpful for students working on essays, research papers, and analytical writing.

My teaching and tutoring approach is practical, supportive, and skill-building. I don’t just “fix” papers — I teach students how to improve structure, argument, clarity, and style so they can succeed independently. I work step-by-step through thesis development, organization, evidence use, paragraph flow, and sentence-level polish. For creative and narrative work, I also help with voice, character, and scene development. I tailor sessions to each student’s needs and learning style.

I work well with high school, dual-enrollment, and college students, especially those preparing essays, research assignments, and literary analysis papers. I also help with revision strategies, outlining, study skills, and assignment planning. My goal is always the same: make the work clearer, stronger, and less stressful — and help students understand why the improvements work.

Students and parents can expect patience, professionalism, detailed feedback, and practical tools they can use long after our sessions end.
