I am a former biology teacher. I taught high school for 4 years, but decided the traditional classroom was not for me. I have experience preparing high school students for the TN Biology EOC and the science portion of the ACT. My method for tutoring would include finding the student's weak areas of understanding in the concepts they are attempting to learn and reinforcing those with scaffolding from the concepts in which they are proficient.
