I love working with young children. Many children just need a little extra time to grasp a concept...the individual time they do not/cannot get in the classroom. I have taught kindergarten, K/1, 1, and 3rd grades. I served as a 3rd grade reading tutor and I hold certification in grades PreK-6 as well as a Reading Specialist certification. I have extensive training in phonics and phonemic awareness. I believe that learning should be engaging and fun.
