I'm an experienced educator with a strong background in literacy, communication, and instructional support. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Special Education, and I am currently pursuing my Educational Specialist (Ed.S) in School Administration. My academic training and professional roles allow me to support students with diverse learning needs while focusing on confidence, clarity, and skill growth.
I began my career as a Special Education inclusion teacher, supporting English classes in grades 9–12 with a focus on reading intervention and ACT preparation. This role helped me develop a deep understanding of how to identify learning gaps and scaffold instruction so students at all levels can grow. I later taught Speech & Communications and English II, where I worked with students on public speaking, writing, reading comprehension, and preparation for state assessments. My teaching experience spans grades 6–12 in both general education and intervention settings.
Currently, I serve as a Professional Learning Community (PLC) Coach, supporting teachers in improving instruction, analyzing student data, and designing effective literacy practices. This work strengthens my ability to tailor tutoring to each learner’s needs and help students develop practical strategies they can use immediately. My approach is patient, structured, and student-centered. I believe in breaking complex skills into clear steps and building students’ confidence as they master reading, writing, speaking, and academic organization. I look forward to supporting your student’s growth and helping them reach their goals.
