One thing I have found as a teacher and tutor is that young people struggle the most with organization and confidence. Often they need the encouragement to know they can succeed. Most also need help understanding how to study, as well as how to organize their time and materials in order to be successful.
If you ask any of my students, past or present, they would say I’m like a cheerleader! I love them and love to see them succeed! I also am a parent of 3 kids: one in college, one in high school, and one in elementary—so I know what it is like on the parent side too. I like to communicate with parents and I want to help your family have less stress during these stormy teenage years.
