I attended Lee University for my undergraduate degree in K-12 Comprehensive Special Education. I am a licensed teacher who specializes in Math and English Language Arts, but I am strong in science and social studies as well. My main goal when teaching is to give the students confidence and tools to learn on their own. Parents and teachers are the guides and can only do so much, the student has to be the one that wants to do the work and succeed. They need to see a goal and work to reach it. When a student does something because they are passionate about it, then they will far surpass what they could be forced to do. However, some need a nudge in the right direction to get started.
I also love the outdoors and being active, so if I can use physical activity to benefit their educational success, then I will take advantage of that opportunity.
