Hello! I live in Tennessee and have taught as a Speech Language Teacher in the public school system for the past 6+ years. I truly enjoy what I do and want to continue sharing information and tools with students and their families. During 2020-2021, I conducted teletherapy sessions (virtual session via Zoom) and I enjoyed getting to work with students who benefit from this platform. Outside of speech and teaching, I love playing with my sons, yoga, working in my garden and anything plant related.

I have my bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and am certified in Tennessee as a Speech Language Teacher. I have worked in the school setting for the past 6 years providing speech and language therapy to students spanning ages 3-20 years old. I have experience working with students who have speech and language delays (articulation, stuttering, receptive/expressive language delays) and a variety of disorders and disabilities that may impact speech and/or language development; including Autism, developmental and cognitive delay, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome and Apraxia. I tailor all my activities and materials to each individual student so that they get the most out of each lesson.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or specific requests. I understand every student is unique and many students with special needs often just need a little extra support. I am currently working full time as a school-based speech therapist until the end of the school year. My availability will open up for earlier day time slots after May 24th :)

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and an active certified teaching license in Tennessee. For the last 5 years, I have worked as a Speech Language teacher in the public school system. I provided speech and language therapy to students ages 3-20 years old. My lessons consisted of teaching and improving the production of speech sounds, increasing verbal communication, helping students who stutter become more fluent, teaching basic concepts and early reading skills, and improving the expressive/receptive skills of students. I have worked with many children who have difficulties pronouncing certain sounds or words and children who have limited communication. I also have additional training and experience working with most big-name AAC devices and programs.

Positive & Patient

This was our first session and I can already tell she will be very patient. She was very reassuring that with some effort my son can correct his speech. With just the first 30 minutes her techniques were already helping my son with his ‘R’ sound. I’m hoping to really see some improvement with the added benefit of being at home!
