My tutoring qualifications are grounded in a strong educational background and extensive teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science from Southeastern Louisiana University, and I am recognized as a Level 5 Teacher in the state of Tennessee. Throughout my professional journey, I have taught English Language Arts and early childhood education, which has given me a deep understanding of instructional strategies, curriculum alignment, and student development across a wide range of age groups.

I have taught sixth-grade English Language Arts in a classroom setting, where I created engaging lessons, differentiated instruction for diverse learning needs, and used ongoing assessments to guide my approach. Before that, I served as a lead teacher in two private schools, supporting students from preschool through elementary school. These roles enabled me to strengthen my skills in behavior management, family communication, and hands-on, interactive teaching methods that promote curiosity and confidence. I have also worked one-on-one as a nanny, designing individualized learning activities and monitoring developmental milestones, which further prepared me for personalized tutoring environments.

Across these positions, I have consistently focused on helping students grow academically by meeting them where they are, identifying their strengths, and tailoring instruction to support their success. Whether I’m working one-on-one or in a full classroom, my experience has equipped me to tutor students effectively, with patience, clarity, and a strong understanding of how to tailor instruction to individual needs.
