Hi! My name is Sarah and I am an entering medical student at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth! I've been an ACT and SAT tutor for the past three years and truly enjoy the privilege of helping other students reach their goal scores and get into their dream schools. I received a 36 on my ACT, a 1560 on my SAT, and attended undergrad on a full-ride scholarship. I couldn't have done so without my test scores! I know firsthand how important - and stressful - this test can be, and in each of my sessions I go beyond content review to address premium time-saving strategies, test secrets, and advice for test anxiety. My job is to make each of my students completely confident on test day - I know you can do this!

Each of my clients gets access to over 10,000 sample questions I've compiled, including complimentary full-length tests from my resources such as Kaplan SAT and ACT books, SAT Prep Plus, and The Official ACT Test Book. When you select me as your tutor, you're selecting someone who has worked tirelessly for her previous 150+ clients, each of whom has been able to achieve their dream scores. My experience is mostly 1:1 for high school students of all ages, although discounted group rates can be applied as well!

In college, I majored in biochemistry and neuroscience and learned about the psychology of learning and studying that truly works. No more cramming sessions out of panic the week before your exam. In each of my sessions, I use a tailored and structured style of teaching that combines frequent practice problems and a learning style that suits YOUR strengths. My style of tutoring is based on empirically researched methods - the Feynman Technique, spaced repetition, mind mapping, and more - that worked for thousands of students to achieve their dream scores.

Reach out to me with any questions you might have and I look forward to helping make your dreams come true!

College Counseling

College Counseling

I’ve successfully guided over 15 students through the college and medical school admissions process — from building balanced school lists to editing standout essays. I’m a full-ride undergraduate scholarship recipient and was accepted to over 10 U.S. MD programs, which has given me firsthand insight into what competitive applications require. I’ve worked one-on-one with students to structure application timelines, align extracurriculars with goals, and craft personal narratives that resonate with admissions committees. I don’t just edit — I teach strategy, voice, and positioning to help applicants present their most compelling selves.
Essay Writing

Essay Writing

With over 15 successful mentees, I specialize in college and medical school secondary essays, helping applicants discover and convey the core of their story. My own essays earned me full scholarships in undergrad and admission to over 10 MD programs. I offer detailed brainstorming, thematic structuring, line-by-line editing, and deadline planning. I also use adaptable templates that help students reflect on their experiences authentically — without sounding generic. Whether it’s “Why Us?”, diversity prompts, or activity reflections, I focus on content that is personal, strategic, and memorable.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

I’ve served on the selection team for my undergraduate college’s Honors Program and have conducted dozens of mock interviews with students preparing for college and medical school admissions. I coach students on how to demonstrate insight, authenticity, and professionalism in behavioral, MMI, and traditional formats. We cover common questions, how to structure responses, non-verbal cues, and school-specific strategies. My interview prep sessions are intensive and tailored — designed to help students feel confident, prepared, and compelling under pressure.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I’ve helped students write powerful personal statements that gained admission to Ivy League colleges, top public universities, and highly competitive MD programs. My process is hands-on and personalized — whether you’re starting from scratch or refining a final draft. I teach students how to showcase growth, resilience, and authenticity, even in 5,300 characters or fewer. I’ve written successful statements myself and have edited dozens for students with varied backgrounds. From narrative tone to structural flow, I make sure every word supports the student’s message and voice.
