I'm Ryan! I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelors degree in Engineering Design. After working in the workforce for two years, I accepted a teaching position at my local community college where my passion for teaching blossomed. I have been able to turn that passion for teaching in to a continued career at the college as well as becoming the lead educator at my engineering firm. No matter where, or what, I teach, I focus on critical thinking and real world application. For me, nothing helped me more than when I was able to see a tangible effect on what I was learning.
In the ACT, the math section is more heavily focused on critical thinking than on advanced concepts. As an engineering professor, teaching critical thinking has become one of the staple tenants in my repertoire. I am confident that my teaching style will improve your ACT math score.
Working as a photographer for the past five years has taught me many different skills. I specialize in film photography, but my experience has cultivated my abilities in studio, weddings, portraits, art, and many other disciplines.
Having logged more than 6000 hours of Solidworks, I have mastered most of the functions. I am currently employed as a design engineer at a local engineering firm where my skills are honed each and every day. On top of this, I currently teach engineering design at my local community college to all age groups.
I believe in feedback for both the students and me; therefore, I welcome any resources or suggestions from my students or their parents during our time together. I am easy to reach and will always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
