I do my best to create a positive learning environment for my students to thrive in by building rapport with them, reinforcing their progress & effort, and helping them master fundamentals to make mental math easier and seemingly effortless! From improving grades & test scores to "catching up" to or even excelling their grade level: I not only help students improve upon their computational skills, but also their confidence in their own abilities as a mathematician.
My teaching style is heavily influenced from the 8 Standards of Mathematical Practice:

I specialize in algebra, pre-algebra, and general arithmetic, and am confident in my abilities to tutor any student from kindergarten all the way to high school students. I believe that every student is capable of learning math and achieving progress.
