Hi, I'm Kait!
I'm a fourth-year medical student with a strong academic track record—I've maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my medical school journey. Over the past three years, I’ve been tutoring fellow medical students in subjects ranging from medical histology to nephrology and respiratory medicine.
I've collaborated closely with department heads to design high-yield, exam-focused sessions tailored to both course exams and the COMLEX. I also have faculty-level teaching experience in Osteopathic Principles and Practices and am certified by the NBOME in “Item Writing 101: Multiple Choice Items with Realistic Clinical Scenarios.” I’m confident I can help you meet—and exceed—your goals.
Before medical school, I double-majored in Biology (with a focus in Molecular Genetics) and Chemistry. I spent three years teaching biology, anatomy, and chemistry at the undergraduate level, tutoring over 200 students during that time. I taught General Chemistry I lab for three years and Anatomy lab for two.
My approach is all about understanding the why. When you grasp the underlying principles of physiology and pathology, you can apply them across systems, interpret treatment algorithms, and recognize complex clinical presentations. My tutoring is highly individualized, with a focus on conceptual clarity, active learning, and exam readiness. For medical students I offer high-yield study guides for COMLEX and shelf exams, NBOME style practice questions that I created via evidence-based methods, and test-taking strategies with enhancement of clinical reasoning skills.
For undergraduate students, I begin with a personalized assessment of your current understanding, then build a customized study plan. We’ll synthesize your lecture notes, work through practice questions, and focus on building a strong foundation in the basic sciences to support your academic or professional goals.
If you're looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused tutor—I'd love to work with you!
