Hi there! If you are looking for extra support with your English/writing skills in a caring, nonjudgmental atmosphere, you're in the right place :)

I have Undergrad, Master's, and PhD degrees in English, in both writing and literature. One of my favorite parts of getting those degrees was sharing my knowledge with others, even (especially!) those to whom these subjects didn't come naturally.

Over the last decade, I have taught and tutored English and writing in a wide variety of contexts. I have extensive experience tutoring elementary, middle, and high schoolers, as well as working with adult writers on books and other writing projects. I also taught for five semester in the college classroom and worked for two years in university Writing Centers. However, 1-on-1 tutoring is my favorite format, because I love being able to provide completely custom, personalized support and my full attention to students.

I love helping students of all ages strengthen their reading and writing skills, whether for school assignments, test prep, or outside projects. I also have significant experience working with non-Native English writers. I'm here to help you gain expertise and confidence and to help you communicate with precision, elegance, and clarity.
