I started my career in teaching after moving to Taiwan in 2019 after finishing my bachelor's degree and wondering what was next for myself. That year teaching in Taiwan changed my life and carved a career that I could see myself doing for a long time and being happy. After finishing my contract in Taiwan, I moved back to the United States and obtained my Masters of Education and teaching license in K-12 ESL. Since then, I have worked in public schools in Alabama and Tennessee and am ready to work online as an educator.
My classes are inquiry-based led and are designed to guide learners in connecting their learning to their community while also making sure we practice the four main domains of English language: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Learning is meant to be an enjoyable, relationship building experience and I promise to provide that setting to all my students.
