I scored a perfect 36 on the ACT and a 1530 on the SAT (with an 800 in math), both on my first attempt. I have over a year of experience tutoring high schoolers on the SAT, helping improve their scores by hundreds of points. I know the ins and outs of these exams, and I believe I have found the formula for doing well. I know how tricky these exams can feel, but I know that anyone can do well on these tests -- you just have to find the right strategies for yourself. I will work with you, finding methods tailored to your strengths and weaknesses.
Beyond test prep, I specialize in essays and college applications. As a creative writer, I’ve studied under world-class writers at Duke, and was nominated to attend the Blackburn Literary Festival's creative writing workshop. I have hours of experience outlining, writing, and editing essays that helped people gain admission to elite undergraduate and graduate colleges. One of my clients even secured interviews at 18 medical schools, including Harvard, Columbia, and Duke, and was ultimately admitted to UPenn, WashU, and NYU Grossman. I will work with you to develop the perfect essay, personal statement, or application, no matter which stage of the writing process you are in.
