I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Memphis, after originally pursuing engineering and completing all the math requirements through Calculus III and Differential Equations. While in college, I worked as a certified tutor through the university’s learning center, providing one-on-one support in math and other subjects like writing and grammar. Over the years, I’ve worked with students at the middle school, high school, and college levels, primarily in one-on-one settings. My sessions are always tailored to the individual, whether that means reviewing foundational skills, working through homework, or preparing for exams. While I have tutored in other areas in the past, I now focus primarily on helping students succeed in math.
My tutoring style is calm, encouraging, and results-focused. I don’t believe in memorizing steps without understanding. I work with students to break down concepts, build confidence, and develop lasting problem-solving skills.
