Hello. I am a retired Special Education teacher with close to 20 years of teaching experience and have tutored a good bit in addition. My teaching experience has been at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels over the years. Although a Special Education teacher, I have had extensive training and experience with regular education curriculum, including teaching regular ed English and college prep English at the HS level. I enjoyed teaching each age level but feel most qualified in tutoring at the elementary level, as that is where the bulk of my experience has been. My strength is in teaching language arts but am experienced with all but higher level math. I look forward to working with any student in need of strengthening their own skills, and am willing to help parents to know how to better help their child. I have an unending amount of patience in working with students, but also have the expectation of students being respectful and excepting of my help.
