I cannot recommend Yris enough! My son has made such incredible progress under her guidance. When we first started, he was struggling a bit, but after just a few months of lessons, he's not only gained a deep understanding of the language, but his confidence has skyrocketed as well. Thanks to the Yris’ patient, engaging approach, he has even moved up two levels in his Spanish reading! I’m an adult learning Spanish just for fun & expanding my communication skills, and Yris has done wonders toward improving my over-all grasp of the language. She’s not only a native speaker, but she clearly has strong experience & talent in language teaching. She is very sweet, patient and great with materials, such as using multiple text books and going over concepts multiple times in different ways as well as speaking in Spanish for most of the lesson at a followable pace, which all work to help the concepts sink in more holistically. She also travels to me every week for which I'm so thankful and provided me with photo copied lessons from her text books until I was able to pickup the text books for myself which was very thoughtful & appreciated:) As long as you do your part and practice on your own time, Yris is as good of a guide as you can ask for to get you to the enchanted land of fluency, con seguridad! ¡Gracias Yris!
