I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, graduating at the top of my class in 2019. I am a registered nurse with over six years of emergency and trauma nursing experience, including work at a Level I trauma center. My clinical background has given me extensive knowledge of pharmacology, pathophysiology, medical-surgical nursing, critical care, and clinical decision-making.

Throughout my nursing career, I have helped precept and orient new nurses, support nursing students, and teach clinical concepts in the workplace. I also have experience as an ACLS/BLS instructor, helping learners develop essential knowledge and skills for patient care.

My teaching approach emphasizes understanding concepts rather than memorizing information. I break down difficult topics into manageable steps, use practice questions and real-world clinical scenarios, and explain the rationale behind correct answers. I focus on helping students strengthen critical thinking, clinical judgment, and confidence in applying nursing knowledge.

I am especially interested in supporting nursing students preparing for exams and the NCLEX, as well as those struggling with challenging subjects such as pharmacology, pathophysiology, prioritization, and clinical reasoning. I aim to create a supportive, judgment-free learning environment tailored to each student's individual needs and goals.
