Medical student to help struggling achievers

I graduated cum laude with a degree in biology and a minor in biomolecular science while completing a pre-medical curriculum at a liberal arts institution. My education was well-rounded beyond the expected pre-medical coursework science coursework. I am currently a medical student continuing to build on that scientific foundation.

While I am beginning my formal tutoring experience, medical school has given me extensive experience explaining complex concepts clearly, adapting study strategies, and helping peers work through difficult material. My approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorization alone, while also helping students improve organization, study habits, and test-taking skills. I work best in a one-on-one setting where I can tailor explanations to an individual student’s learning style and goals.

As a medical student, I have learned firsthand the importance of effective study strategies, time management, and adapting learning techniques when material becomes challenging. Because of that experience, I focus not only on helping students understand concepts, but also on helping them develop sustainable approaches to learning and test preparation.
