Hello! My name is Teacher Miranda, and I'm excited to teach your child! I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Technology from Augustana University in South Dakota.
I have over 13 years experience in Education including teaching children age preschool-high school, owned a dance studio, coached children's dance classes and competitive teams, and helped train adults in their corporate jobs, so education and children are very important to me! I have taught in live classrooms as a classroom teacher and substitute teacher, as well as being an online tutor one-on-one and for small groups for over 6 years.
Outside of my classroom, I love to spend time with my family watching movies, playing outside, making crafts, walking our dogs, dancing, and traveling! I also volunteer with my therapy dog at our local hospital, so I love to connect with people in various ways!
In my classroom, I want to make learning fun, enjoyable, and not feel like work! I love seeing a child's face light up when they learn something, and want to make learning an exciting adventure!
