Hi!
I am a licensed elementary teacher currently teaching 5th grade with 8 years of classroom experience. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Dakota and have spent my career working with upper elementary students. I taught 4th grade for four years on a reservation and have been teaching 5th grade for the past four years, giving me a strong understanding of the academic and social needs of this age group.

I have a passion for helping students grow in math and building their confidence along the way. I know that many students feel overwhelmed or frustrated when concepts don’t click right away, so I focus on breaking skills down into clear, manageable steps and teaching in a way that makes sense to them. I also have experience tutoring students in both math and reading over the summers, working one-on-one with families to support skill development and academic growth.

My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. I believe that with the right support and encouragement, every student can succeed. Whether your child needs extra help, review, or a boost in confidence, I’m here to help them feel successful and capable.
