I have a strong academic background in mathematics and computer science and am currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at South Dakota State University. My studies have provided me with a solid foundation in mathematical concepts, which I have further developed through my role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. In this position, I have taught and supported undergraduate students in computer science courses that often require a strong understanding of mathematics. Additionally, I have experience tutoring both high school and college students in subjects such as algebra and calculus. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable parts and using examples that connect to real-life applications. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment, tailoring my teaching methods to the unique needs and learning styles of each student. My experience includes working one-on-one as well as with small groups, helping students gain confidence and improve their skills over time. My passion for teaching and helping students succeed motivates me to go beyond merely solving problems; I aim to inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation for mathematics. With my academic background and hands-on experience, I am confident in my ability to guide students toward achieving their goals in math.
