Over the past 22 years, I have been involved in education for both general and special education students on a number of age levels. It has been an enjoyable experience to work with students in elementary, middle, high school and community college. These experiences help me to be a good tutor with the students I serve. Past tutoring experiences have been very successful as I worked as a home-bound tutor for one student for a year and others for shorter periods.

My own sons are now successful and well educated adults. My 2 of my 4 grandchildren are special needs students, as are both my step sons. This has given me insights into both the needs of parents and students with educational challenges. My Learning Disabilities Endorsement goes well with my Highly Qualified English degree to serve a wide variety of students. As I enjoy seeing each student I assist to succeed, it is my goal to see my students reach theirs as I assisted my own to reach the goals each set for themselves.
