I grew a passion for the field of education when I was a young adult working as a teacher's assistant. Back then, I got the opportunity to work in various departments ranging from ESOL to mainstream education at the high school level. By the time I moved from Florida to South Carolina, I had been working in the field of education for approximately eight years and with my Bachelor's degree in hand, I had what I needed to become a certified teacher.

Once I became certified, I began teaching business and writing courses at the high school level. I successfully taught for six years, occasionally tutoring elementary, middle, and adult-aged students.
