Need help with History or HR Management?

I have been a high school Social Studies teacher for 20 years. I am "highly qualified" in all of the following subjects: US History, World History, Government/Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, and Geography. I have taught all of these subjects, although US History and Government would probably be my favorites. I have a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management and worked in HR for a few years before going into teaching. I can assist with business education, organizational management, or organizational psychology in addition to the Social Studies subjects.

I enjoy tutoring because I am so encouraged to be able to help students go from feeling confused or lost with material to complete understanding. I live for the "light bulb moment" showing up in students. I have many means of presenting information; re-teaching concepts using diagrams, outlines, Q & A, pictures, primary source readings, and various other modalities. For higher education, I can reteach concepts with Socratic questioning and general discussion.

I look forward to using all teaching modalities to assist students from middle school all the way through graduate school.

I am able to read through papers and correct grammar mistakes easily. Additionally, I can see an overview of the paper and make suggestions about how certain sentences may fit better in other locations of the paper.

My passion in life is history! I love studying it, talking about it, and teaching it.
