Since earning multiple degrees in physics (BS, MS, PhD), I have worked as a scientist, engineer, & technologist for industry, government, & academia. Currently, my primary activity is teaching college courses in physics & physical science. In addition to classroom & laboratory instruction, I have served as a tutor & academic counselor for many students. My experiences are with students of different backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, & Math (STEM): including students who are afraid of STEM or have limited STEM preparation, as well as students who have a strong STEM background and often participate in STEM-related activities.
