While living in Oregon, my horseback riding program for children and adults with disabilities grew to be the largest Special Olympics Equestrian program in the state of Oregon, and our team competed at S.O. World Games in 1995.
I grew up in the Air Force, and as a teenager lived in England and travelled throughout Europe. Education and travel are my passions. I earned my BA Cum Laude from Saint Mary's College of California in Leadership and Organizational Studies, and my postgraduate diploma with merit from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, in 2025 in Genealogy.
Learning new things and being open to new perspectives teaches us to expand our visions, dreams, and understanding of others.
