If you're frustrated with your writing, struggling to find the words to express your ideas, and worried about research, delivery, and debate, I may be the person for you! I am a professor of composition and literature lecturer. I enjoy training students in close-reading, grammar, and writing, with an especial love for poetry and drama. I have also trained students in public speaking, presentation, and debate (Model NATO and Model League), with a particular focus on college-level debate (five years experience).
I have a decade of experience in English (my BA inn English and my MA in Literature from SMU) and have instructed undergraduates in composition and British literature for six years. I have also mentored younger students in reading and have extensive experience teaching grammar, editing, and proofreading to writers of all levels. Finally, as a doctoral student in education (EdD), I also have proficiencies in professional editing, graduate-paper editing, and research.
