I use hands on methods to help students get from concrete understanding to abstract. Teaching math is a process. Math can be learned when student understands the process and logic to determining answers.

I have experience in multiple strategies from unit study, whole language, four block and balanced literacy (currently being used in most schools).

I also have experience with hands on science and Social Studies. I have successfully work with students on study skills improving grades and attitude towards school.

I know I am a good tutor because the students are learning and the parents are happy (less stressed).

Excellent Tutor!

She is an experienced teacher and is extremely patient. I feel we hit the jackpot by hiring her! My grandson goes to her happily (which is an accomplishment in and of itself). Conner talks to me after the sessions and keeps me up-to-date. She truly knew my grandsons strengths and weaknesses after only one session. Highly recommend!
