Knowledgeable and very helpful tutor

Abby has helped me understand so much with the biology class I’m taking. She provides detailed information with great explanations and uses the interactive Wyzant board where you can type and draw during sessions. For example, if one has to learn a diagram for a class, the interactive board allows you to draw which will help with practicing to memorize the diagram. This really enhances tutoring sessions especially if you are a visual learner like myself. Also, I’m attending Clemson University which is where Abby graduated from. It helps even more that Abby has attended the same university I’m currently attending because she knows a lot about classes and how they work. Because she is a graduate, she knows what you are experiencing and can help you develop good study habits and methods. Along with the information I learn in lectures, Abby’s lessons help provide me more understanding from a student/graduate perspective. It helps to hear things twice. She is very helpful and patient. I very much recommend her.

Knowledgeable, well prepared, patient, encouraging chemistry tutor!

Abby is one of a kind. From the first session, she gave my son confidence and necessary education on subject matter for a test two days later. He felt so behind and she made a difference! He said he really liked that she was able to teach him the material, she had a lesson planned. She did not just “cover homework problems”. Abby has continued to make a difference, notice areas to improve upon and has been key in his elevated test scores! Thank you Abby, you are a gem!

Knowledgeable, Confident Tutor with Patient and Easy-to-Follow Teaching Style

I’ve been working with Ms. Abby this spring, and she is a fantastic tutor! I was working with her for my zoology class, a grad requirement for my bachelor’s in general biology, which I had taken 2 times previously with no success. It was only after working with Ms. Abby that I began to see some great improvement in my grades for zoology. She was really kind and helpful, giving me great practice problems for exam prep and explaining anything I didn’t understand in a way that made sense to me. She also gave me a lot of good advice for other topics like the various master’s programs available to me as a bio major. She ensured that anytime I joined her for class, I left with a better understanding of my coursework and my future career. I definitely suggest that college students try working with Ms. Abby for any biology classes needed for their degrees!

Patient and knowledgeable tutor

Abby is an incredible and competent tutor. Unlike many of the tutors I have dealt with in the past, she actually has a system for reviewing material that allows students to master the information.
