Well, the line between crazy and passionate is often blurred in the art world. I promise it's just that I am passionate about sharing the joy of the visual arts.
I am academically trained in drawing, painting, sculpture, print making, and graphic design. I have twenty years of experience in freelance graphic design. My accomplishments include several awards in 2D design, multiple mural commissions, co-designing and building a public sculpture garden at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY.
I like to share examples of great works of art to inspire my students, not to instruct my students to copy them. My students learn the elements and principles of design, then use them to create expressive realistic or abstract works of visual art. As a team, you and I will critique your work in process to help you make it better. What you learn is based on your own personal interests. If you need direction, I can offer that.
