As both a reading teacher and a literacy coach, I have been successful with helping teenagers pass the Reading FCAT, and helping younger students with spelling, writing, & reading. I work best with students on a one to one basis, because I am able to pinpoint their needs/learning style and teach them accordingly (which is why I have been able to help ADD/ADHD kids). I have a Master's Degree in Reading and Special Education, and am Florid Certified to teach ESE students (K-12) & Reading K-12 as well as Elementary. I've also had experience working with methods for helping kids with Dyslexia Linda Moody program, and am certified to give the Irlen Scotopic Sensitivity diagnostic screening (i.e. reading by the colors method). I also have numerous resources to help dyslexic kids learn strategies.

I am Florida Certified to teach students (K-6), and have a little bit of experience teaching ASD kids. I have taught Elementary aged students in small groups in the area of Reading and was able to see improved scores. I also have tutored Elem. aged students with ADD, again with positive results.

Leah is very patient and great with children with add she has a great passion to teach them and reach them in a way they can understand, she is giving him tools and teaching him strategies to be sucessful
