About Alexander

Bio

I am the Chief Photo editor at the local newspaper and teach at SCC in the night photo program. I love teaching students about real life photo. I have taught at Spartanburg Community College for the last 10 years. After 21 years as a Navy photo editor I retired and now love working for newspapers.

Digital Photo and photography are my passion.

I have a degree in Photography from Syracuse University. I have taught basic and advance photo at Spartanburg Community College (night adult classes 10 years) and I am the current Chief of Photography for the Spartanburg Herald-Journal newspaper.
