I have over 20 years of experience in teaching multiple grade levels and subjects which include first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grade self contained classes where math, language arts, reading, social studies, and science were taught. I also taught departmentalized science, social studies, and math on the elementary grade level. My college level teaching experience includes teaching introductory early childhood courses to adult learners. I have spent most of my teaching career teaching second and fifth grades. My passion is to help others to succeed. I love teaching, and being able to see the improvement in a student's progress is very rewarding.

Working with individuals one on one enables me to help students to reach their highest potential possible. My approach to helping you as a learner would be to first get to know a little about your strengths and weaknesses by conducting a needs assessment. This will allow me to develop an individualized learning plan to address your academic needs. I am very personable and easy to work with, which makes learners feel comfortable. I think that this is very important in establishing a positive relationship.

I hold several degrees in education which include a BS in Elementary Education, an MEd. in Early Childhood Education, an MEd. in Educational Administration, as well as a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership. I also am certified and highly qualified in Elementary Education as well as Educational Administration. My credentials and years of experience have equipped me to provide excellent instruction and support for learners.
