My name is Tyshun, and I am an Army Veteran with over seven years of leadership and investigative experience, now working as an Independent Contract Investigator. Throughout my career, I have developed strong skills in critical thinking, communication, and problem solving, which I bring directly into my tutoring approach. I have led teams of up to 50 individuals in high pressure environments, managed complex operations, and conducted detailed investigations requiring accuracy, patience, and attention to detail. My academic background includes a Master of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, which allows me to support students not only with subject knowledge but also with practical strategies for learning, organization, and long term success.

As a tutor, my goal is to meet students where they are and help them build both confidence and competence. I believe in breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and adapting my teaching style to fit each student’s learning preferences. Whether I am helping someone understand foundational material or refine advanced skills, I focus on creating a structured but supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress. My experience in law enforcement, investigations, and leadership has taught me the value of patience, accountability, and clear communication, which I use to ensure every student feels supported and capable. My ultimate goal is to be of service by helping others grow academically and develop skills that extend beyond the classroom.
